Confirmation is performed every year at Our Lady of Victory.
Eighth graders are confirmed after they have taken a preparation class in the Junior High Program of Religious Education. These classes meet from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday evenings, twice per month. Classes are held in the Parish Life Center. The next confirmation celebration will be Tuesday, April 24, 2012. In addition to these evening classes, preparation includes the following required activities:
- Meeting with candidate and parents – Commitment Ceremony
- Meeting with candidates and sponsors
- Day of Reflection
- Practice
