Religious Education Program
Our K – 5th grades meet each Sunday morning from 9:30am – 10:40am. We use the Christ Our Life – The New Evangelization Program from Loyola Press. Our Sunday experience for our students involves social justice, celebrating and learning about the Saints and feast days, along with Reconciliation, and more.
Special Needs – Our Lady of Victory offers an individualized program for children with Special Needs offered on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00pm during the school year. A individualized lesson plan is made for the student. Volunteer catechists work with the child weekly, working towards the Sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation, along with a regular Religious Education plan. We use the program Finding God and the Adaptive Program from Loyola Press along with supplements from Loyola Press that are specifically made for Special Needs children. Please call Krista Joseph, DRE in the Religious Education office to schedule a meeting to discuss your child’s needs.
CHOSENis our middle school program for 6-8th graders meets each Sunday morning from 9:40am – 10:45am. We use the Christ Our Life – The New Evangelization Program from Loyola Press, along with the CHOSEN video/book series that will be facilitated by our Deacon Rob Joseph.
Our middle school program is a 3 – year experience. Over the 3 years the student will learn on a deeper level about their faith, prepare for Confirmation beginning in 7th grade, with Confirmation in 8th grade. We also have 2 social justice projects each year including a speaker from those organizations. This allows the student to see, hear, and help those in need.
We are dedicated to forming your child’s faith and conscience through religious education, social justice, and incorporating the life of Christ and His church in their classroom experiences.
