Confirmation Preparation is a required 2 – year program at Our Lady of Victory beginning in 7^th grade and making confirmation in 8^th grade. 

The Bishop confirms our 8^th graders each year at Our Lady of Victory.  Our Confirmation class meets each Sunday morning from 9:40 am – 10:45 am in the Parish Life Center.

 Our Confirmation teacher Adrien Ardoin uses the Loyola Press, Christ Our Life – The New Evangelization series along with the You Cat, which is a Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church by Ignatius Press.   Adrien’s deep love, respect, faith, and knowledge of the Catholic Faith inspire our students and their parents each year!

In addition to our classes, we have several required activities that are required for Confirmation:
 

• Mandatory Parent Meeting

• Retreat, Confirmation Commitment Ceremony Mass, and Confirmation Dinner with Sponsor

• Corporal Works of Mercy Project

• Saint Project

• Mandatory Parent/Student attendance for Speaker Pam Heil on Christian Sexuality and Morality
